Genting Casino Glasgow to Get a New Chinese Theme

With a huge £1.6million having been set aside by Genting to revamp their established Glasgow casino up in Scotland, they do appear to be sparing no expense to give it a new look and a full makeover.

In fact, they have just announced that the casino is to be given something of a Chinese theme, which may sound a tad surprising based on the location of that City Centre casino, however they do have a very large customer base of people that are Chinese in origin.

The revamp is to start straight away and will take some time to complete, however the casino will still be open for business during the renovations, so customers are not going to have to find a new place at which to gamble whilst that work is completed.

One area of the casino that is going to be completely remodelled is the gaming area, and a new smaller gaming room is planned, which one would imagine will be set aside for high stake gamblers.

The main gaming floor however is also being extended in size and plenty of new slot machines are going to be rolled out onto that new section of the gaming area once it has been completed.

The ever popular Hou Mei Chinese Restaurant is also set to be refurbished too, and unusually for a land-based UK located casino, three Karaoke rooms are also going to be on offer to customers too once the refurbishment is complete.

Genting have high hopes that all the work on their Glasgow casino refurb will be completed by the end of November and they are then planning a relaunch party and major events to celebrate the new look casino venue for the Chinese New Year which is of course in January.
